The 20/200 Protection Plan is our long-haul confidence promise: when you purchase an eligible new vehicle from a participating nucar dealership and follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule, your powertrain is protected for up to 20 years or 200,000 miles from the in-service date — whichever comes first.
Eligible vehicles
- New, non-lease vehicle purchases
- Purchased at a participating nucar dealership
- Maintained per the manufacturer's recommended schedule
What's excluded
- Used vehicles
- Leased vehicles
- New electric vehicles
- Commercial, police, fire, emergency, snow plow, racing, and fleet or multiple-unrelated-driver use
Your responsibilities

Follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule and keep service records.

Coverage is non-transferable and stays with the original purchaser.

Service at a licensed facility; keep itemized receipts.
