The Dagesse approach
Berlin City pioneered combining manufacturers under a single site — separate showrooms, separate service departments, one location. Customers called from out of state.
Buyers let delivery drivers stay overnight after long drives. That's the level of trust Dan Dagesse built — novel, authentic, and the foundation for the next 30 years.
When Dan sold Berlin City, he set up one of the nation's first ESOPs. Employees collected half the windfall and celebrated at a rented-out hotel in Whitefield, NH.

Two generations, one family business — built on the lessons Dan learned in the North Country and passed straight to Chris on the lot.
Founder & CEO
Started as a sales associate in New Hampshire, became a dealership owner at the same store, built Berlin City into a multi-franchise pioneer, and closed a $100M sale to AutoNation — the largest dealership sale in automotive history at the time.
Co-Owner
Started as a 'lot boy' for his father in NH and worked every department — sales, service, parts, collision, management — before becoming co-owner of DCD Automotive Holdings in 2014 and leading the Nucar rebrand.

Established in 1956, DFRC has distributed more than $6.3M to Delaware programs supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities through events like the Blue-Gold All★Star Football Game.
Honoring beloved teacher and coach Jim Bashaw, the fund provides financial assistance to local residents facing catastrophic illness.

Built in 1947, the second-oldest indoor ice hockey arena in NH and home to more state championships than any other rink in the state.
